DateGuard.AI ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Data Specialists Group LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and web services.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. We use Supabase Authentication for secure account management.
Voice Recordings
Our app allows you to record voice samples for vocal biomarker analysis. Voice recordings are processed to generate emotional analysis scores and are not shared with third parties.
Analysis Results
We store the results of vocal biomarker analyses, including emotional dimension scores, to generate your DateGuard reports.
Usage Data
We collect anonymous usage analytics through Google Analytics to improve our service.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymized usage data such as page views, session duration, and general device/browser information. This data helps us improve the Service. Google Analytics uses cookies; you can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: Supabase (authentication & database), Emotion Logic (vocal analysis engine) — only as necessary to provide our services
- Partner Sharing: When you invite a partner to complete a report, they will see their own analysis results and the combined report
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or legal process
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure authentication, and access controls. Our infrastructure is designed to align with HIPAA privacy principles.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Voice recordings used for analysis are processed and the raw audio is permanently deleted within 24 hours. Analysis results are retained to provide ongoing access to your reports.

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.
To delete your account:
- Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Delete My Account"
- Include the email address associated with your DateGuard account
- We will process your deletion request within 7 business days
What gets deleted:
- Your account profile and credentials
- All voice analysis results and reports
- Partner invitations and connections
- All personal data associated with your account
Once deleted, this action cannot be undone.

If you'd like to request deletion of specific data without deleting your entire account:

- Specify which data you'd like deleted (reports, analysis results, etc.)
- We will process your request within 7 business days
6. Biometric Data & Voice Analysis
DateGuard.AI processes voice recordings to perform vocal biomarker analysis. This constitutes biometric data processing under applicable privacy laws including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA).
- What we collect: Voice recordings submitted through the DateGuard compatibility assessment
- How it's processed: Recordings are analyzed by our vocal biomarker engine (Emotion Logic FeelGPT) to extract emotional dimension scores
- Retention: Raw voice recordings are permanently deleted within 24 hours of analysis. Only the resulting numerical scores and metadata are retained
- No biometric database: We do not create or maintain a database of biometric identifiers. Voice recordings are used solely for one-time analysis and then destroyed
7. GDPR & Your Data Rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have the following rights:
- Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to Data Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal data
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent to biometric data processing at any time through the app's Settings screen or by contacting us
Legal Basis for Processing: We process biometric data based on your explicit consent, which you provide before any voice recording begins.

8. Children's Privacy
