By accessing or using the DateGuard.AI application and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Data Specialists Group LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

DateGuard.AI is a dating safety application that provides identity verification through advanced liveness detection. The Service confirms that users are real people — not bots, catfish, or fake profiles — by performing a quick, camera-based liveness check. The identity verification feature is provided free of charge.

3. Identity Verification Consent

By using the Service, you expressly consent to:

• The use of your device camera for liveness detection
• The real-time processing of your facial imagery to confirm you are a live person
• The storage of your verification result (pass/fail status and timestamp)

Facial images are processed in real time and are never stored. They are permanently discarded immediately after the liveness check completes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to deceive the liveness detection system using photos, videos, or masks
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying algorithms
• Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm another person
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

5. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, technology, and functionality of DateGuard.AI — including but not limited to software, algorithms, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are the exclusive property of Data Specialists Group LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimers

DateGuard.AI identity verification confirms liveness only. A verified badge means the user passed a real-time liveness check — it does not guarantee the person’s identity, character, intentions, or background. DateGuard is not a substitute for personal safety precautions.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DATA SPECIALISTS GROUP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
